Edinburgh Fringe 2026

We're trying a new venture in the Fringe this year - concerts - and are setting up two separate shows, both in the Royals Scots Club in Abercromby Place:

Scotland in Song

1100 -1200 on Aug 13, 14, 17-20

Robert Sim and Bernie Hewitt from the Terrific Trouble ceilidh band (Ceilidh in the Speakeasy 2025) take to the stage once again to bring you a selection of Scottish songs dating back through the ages, and the stories that go with them.  This is a very family-friendly show, with something for all ages. You can just sit back and enjoy or join in with the singing as you like, while learning a little about Scotland’s incredibly rich history preserved in song.

Scotland's Songs and Music

1945- 2045 on Aug 25, 26

Come and join the Terrific Trouble ceilidh band as they take to the stage again in the Speakeasy, this year for a lively, fun-filled family show that is guaranteed to get your feet tapping. Sit back and enjoy the music from your favourite ceilidh dances, along with some traditional songs to join in with. You might even find out why the train ran away, or what happened with Aunty Mary and a canary.

More details on how to get tickets for both of these shows will be added here once the tickets go on sale.
